Working as an Office Administrator gives you the freedom to work in any business sector locally, nationally or worldwide.

The business sector is varied and personnel are required to have different skills depending on the nature of its work.  The Office Administrator is expected to work with a high level of discretion and in a very confidential manner so as not to give cause for action.  Their role is not to provide secretarial duties but to ensure smooth running of an Office.

They may be tasked with delivering reception duties, responding to written correspondence, ensuring that materials required are always in stock, interviewing for jobs within the office, dealing with disputes, planning events.  This can be stressful for some so it is vital that as an Office Administrator you are able to deal with several issues at once while remaining professional at all times in all situations.

For businesses to remain competitive, Office Administration and Good Client Relations are becoming far more important than ever so the Office Administrator will always be a very valuable member of any business team.  Office Administrators can also become Office Managers so there is scope for progress and promotion.
